Accounting by e-mail or web interface
Information and communication technologies now determine our everyday life. An essential development in this area is electronic accounting which is becoming increasingly important for companies and has been standardised throughout Europe.
Morawa is now relying on a modern and cost-conscious accounting system with immediate effect. Having acquired a “Certificate with advanced electronic signature”, Morawa is legitimised by a digital signature and authorised for electronic accounting.
The signed invoice sent by mail or web interface in future and in agreement with our publishing customers is intended to supersede the “paper invoice” sent via the post. Electronic accounting offers many advantages, particularly in the further processing and archiving.
How does our new e-billing work?
When creating the invoice, the invoice data are generated by the invoicing program or by the ERP system. The electronic certificate and XML data set must be signed electronically. The invoice is mailed to the recipient and at the same time archived electronically at the sender.
Signature and content are checked at the recipient. The e-billing system converts the invoice based on the XLS data into a format which can be processed by the invoice recipient. In the internal processing process the invoice is checked for accuracy and completeness either automatically or by a checker and is released. Archiving and booking can be carried out automatically.
The e-invoice offers the following advantages
- Cost saving compared with conventional paper invoice with low investment expenditure
- Time saving by integration in existing financial bookkeeping (FIBU) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Facilitates administration by electronic archiving or passing on to finance office and/or tax advice
